It’s been said that the root of prayer is interior silence. The St. Julian’s Contemplative Group offers a Centering Prayer practice with community every Thursday night at 7:00 PM in the library. The method of Centering Prayer comes from the teachings of Fr. Thomas Keating and Contemplative Outreach, Ltd., a world-wide spiritual network committed to renewing the contemplative dimension of the Gospel. This silent meditation is based on ancient practices of resting in God. It is developing prayer as relationship as we open ourselves to listen for and rest in the Divine Presence. Come join us as we pray, read books, watch videos, and discuss our spiritual journey together.
